A little something about my work.

Started out working with Sterling Silver in the 60's making simple designs then moving into traditional Native American designs with hand cut stone working on the stump of a tree. After losing most of my tools to a New England Northeaster it became apparent that I needed to find a way to create my Art Work using the materials I loved to work with. Wirework was the answer...I could work with my hands using tools only to start and finish a beautiful piece of jewelry. It was not easy, self-taught meant many hours, days and months of ugly pieces until one day when I went to the many I bought wire from who gave me the best advice I have ever received and after he asked If I made the pendant I was wearing... He said, "it is not great, it is not bad someone will love it, keep creating and let them pay for you to get better". He was right! Turned out to be Featured Artist at many of the 40 plus shows I did a year in Florida, Texas, New England, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, New Orleans, Arkansas, and Tennesee.

Then I found Lampwork Glass Beadmaking which allowed me to create my version of the antique beads used in many of my finished pieces of jewelry, WOW how cool was this!

Then came the need to create my own components, chain, and findings. Hence, Wirework, PMC Yea!, chain maille and you know I make my own jump rings in sterling silver, copper and stainless steel.

All of the things learned over the years have been offered in classes on a one on one basis or when traveling from show to show with a little time to offer to teach small groups of 10.
