Video summary: This video demonstrates how to use some of my most popular products.

A serendipitous encounter led to the creation of Bubbly Crock Pottery

My husband and I attended the Pawpaw Festival in Ohio and we met a girl who was the owner of an Etsy shop. She explained how Etsy works, and given the many artistic talents that I have I decided to open up Simply Resourceful which was modeled after a long running blog that I used as a journal documenting our homesteading activities. This was a great introduction to Etsy, but eventually I found my passion was for making fermentation products...so a name change was in order to better capture the essence of what I hoped to become, hence, the name Bubbly Crock came to be. The name is very fitting for all of those who ferment as our crocks literally bubble, but it has a second meaning that exudes joy in food preservation and being the positive energy that all communities need. I really love the name, and I hope you see that every one of my products share this positive energy.

I try to keep things simple in my life by making practical things with a fun twist. Growing food at home and supporting local farmers is the foundation of the products I make that focus on food preservation and fermentation.
