These work great for fermenting in canning jars as long as I keep the pieces not too small. Overall satisfied. 😊

These fermenting weights are extremely well-made, and arrived quickly and well packaged. Unfortunately for me I did not notice the dimension of these items and falsely assumed that since they were made for half gallon and gallon jars, that they would fit my half gallon canning jars. Not so! 😩 Take care to know the diameter of your jar before ordering to ensure they will fit. Rookie move on my part I suppose. I have now purchased a larger diameter jar so that I can use them and all is well! I would highly recommend this product.
