Becoming a grandma has been the greatest joy of my life. Another has always been sewing. While my children were growing up there was not space in our home for a sewing room and to create something meant the destruction of our dining room, therefore my hobby took a sabbatical. Once the kids all were married and moved into their own homes I had all the room I needed to get back into sewing in a big way. Then each of my two daughters had babies. First there was Ben, who we have always called Buddy, and then Kylee, who I dubbed Missy “Boo”. These two gave me lots of reasons to spend all of my spare time sewing and creating wonderful things for their rooms. It became my mission to create the softest blankets, the easiest and most useful crib accessories, and to take some of the complications out of caring for a baby. But above all, I wanted to create huge smiles on the faces of these precious two and our growing family. Before long all of my children’s friends starting wanting to have “Buddy and Boo’s” grandma create wonderful soft blankets for them too… One thing lead to another and now those wonderful creations are available to everyone
