Love Affair with Computerized Embroidery

Bull Shoals Embroidery is my company. I am the owner and the employee. Me and my trusty 4 head, industrial embroidery machine have seen it all! From monogrammed towels, to custom jerseys for the entire little league team, if you need beautiful embroidery work in or around the small town of Bull Shoals, AR, I’m the one for the job! From conception to production, Bull Shoals Embroidery is trusted by individuals, church groups and even government entities to create wonderful embroidered shirts, hats, jackets, bags and so much more all at reasonable prices and in a timely fashion. Being known locally for my exceptional work is something I treasure and take pride in. I work hard doing what I love and business is good.

My love affair with computerized embroidery started in 1994 when I took the old sewing machine my grandmother gave me to the shop for repairs. That is where I saw my first home embroidery machine. Being the geek I was at the time, I fell in love with a new gadget for my computer.

I wore out 4 of them doing craft shows in the late 90's. After I got tired of loading up everything every weekend I took a job with a large embroidery company in central Arkansas. The shop had 26 heads and I moved up to manager of the embroidery department. I could not believe how lucky I was to be able to work with all those wonderful Tajima machines.

In 2005 my husband and I moved to north Arkansas. Shortly after arriving I got the bug again. We were off to Atlanta to purchase a 4 head Tajima Embroidery machine. My husband was very unhappy when we had to cut down a tree to get the darn thing in the house.

I was soon working with the local business sewing caps and shirts. One day a had a customer ask if I could make a patch for him to go on the back of his biker vest. It took me a while to perfect the process but that I did.
I joined etsy in 2012. I don't remember when I put up my first item but it has been fun ride.

Bull Shoals Embroidery continues to keep me busy and happy as I create custom products that hold special meaning for my customers.

    Second In Command

I'm Suzette, I joined B.S.E. last July. I began part-time, just assisting Quindy with finishing up the patches and doing the shipping. By the end of July, I was full-time. I now work along side her, with the ability to run the shop in her absence.
