About BungalowQuilting
Wisconsin's largest inventory of Modern Fabric.
We started as a brick and mortar store in 2011. The shop has grown very rapidly. We carry fabrics from Westminster Fibers, Free Spirit, RJR, Cotton and Steel, Michael Miller, Andover, Moda, Studio e, Riley Blake, Art Gallery Fabrics and more. These are the highest quality cotton and the most current. Because we have an online presence and a brick and mortar store, if you like it buy it because it won't be in stock long. Most of the time we don't even have time to make samples because the fabric sells out so quickly.
I am the owner and author of Quilts for Scrap Lovers: 16 Projects Start with Simple Squares, Rainbow Quilts for Scrap Lovers, Sensational Quilts for Scrap Lovers, Tantalizing Tabletoppers, and Sew Cuddly, all published by C&T Publishing. I have also been published in American Quilter for the umbrellas that are available on this site, and will be published in the 2016 edition of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine's Christmas edition.
My books have companion tools also available on this site and from C&T Publishing.
Thank you for your patronage. We love all our customers, online and in person!

Shop policies
*******We use the current nomenclature of the fabric industry when we list widths of fabric. Fabric such as cotton sheeting on a bolt is considered 44/45 inches wide. Rarely is this the case that the fabric is actually that wide. Most often it is 42 inches wide and sometimes it can be 40 inches wide. Keep this in mind when purchasing yardage.******** Even within the same fabric company there can be striking differences. If a fabric is listed at 58/60 inches wide, it also may not be the case. It will be in that ballpark range, but rarely is it a true 60 inches wide. This is the current categorization of fabric. It has been this way for years. We will not return, reimburse or add to an order later because the fabric wasn't as wide as 44/45 or 58/60. It will only be a few inches in difference. We are not intentionally shorting anyone, it's the way fabric comes from the mill. Keep this in mind. If you want to know the exact width of a fabric please contact us and we will happily measure each piece exactly that you are interested in. Nothing makes me happier than a satisfied customer.

Frequently asked questions
Why was my fabric sold out when it was listed on the site?
Frequently people will put something in their cart and leave it there for several hours or days. It can be sold out in that time period, so, it's best to buy it when you see it!
Can I return something if the color isn't right?
I post on a MacBook Pro. It has the truest and clearest images of any computer. If it doesn't look like the actual fabric, I don't post it. If you purchase using a cell phone, then you may not be getting an accurate interpretation of the color. Also, a lesser computer screen may show the color differently. I do not return fabric based on it being the wrong color, or too light or too dark. You can always cross reference a fabric by checking the manufacturers website as well.
Do you send free samples?
There are fixed costs involved even for pulling a fabric and cutting a sample. It has to go with tracking when shipped, and it will be shipped using packaging. For this reason, I have to say that if you need a sample, you should buy 1/4 yard.
