About BungalowQuilting

Sales 27,440
On Etsy since 2014

Wisconsin's largest inventory of Modern Fabric.

We started as a brick and mortar store in 2011. The shop has grown very rapidly. We carry fabrics from Westminster Fibers, Free Spirit, RJR, Cotton and Steel, Michael Miller, Andover, Moda and more. These are the highest quality cotton and the most current. Because we have an online presence and a brick and mortar store, if you like it buy it because it won't be in stock long. Most of the time we don't even have time to make samples because the fabric sells out so quickly.

I am the owner and author of "Quilts for Scrap Lovers: 16 Projects Start with Simple Squares" published by C&T Publishing. I have also been published in American Quilter for the umbrellas that are available on this site, and will be published in the 2016 edition of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine's Christmas edition.

My book has companion tools also available on this site and from C&T Publishing.
Thank you for your patronage. We love all our customers, online and in person!

Welcome to Bungalow Quilting and Yarn where you will find the highest quality modern and contemporary fabrics. You will never have to worry that any of the fabric is not of the highest quality. Because you're buying on line, you aren't able to physically touch the fabric. Don't worry...we have done that for you and would never sell any fabric that wasn't of the highest fiber quality. You can count on the fact that it will be more than suitable for any project.
*******We use the current nomenclature of the fabric industry when we list widths of fabric. Fabric such as cotton sheeting on a bolt is considered 44/45 inches wide. Rarely is this the case that the fabric is actually that wide. Most often it is 42 inches wide and sometimes it can be 40 inches wide. Keep this in mind when purchasing yardage.******** Even within the same fabric company there can be striking differences. If a fabric is listed at 58/60 inches wide, it also may not be the case. It will be in that ballpark range, but rarely is it a true 60 inches wide. This is the current categorization of fabric. It has been this way for years. We will not return, reimburse or add to an order later because the fabric wasn't as wide as 44/45 or 58/60. It will only be a few inches in difference. We are not intentionally shorting anyone, it's the way fabric comes from the mill. Keep this in mind. If you want to know the exact width of a fabric please contact us and we will happily measure each piece exactly that you are interested in. Nothing makes me happier than a satisfied customer.

Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Returns and exchange details
I will replace damaged items that are reported as damaged within 24 hours of the receipt of product. After 24 hours they will not be replaced. No returns on cut goods, regardless of the length.
**** I use current technology in photographing the fabric. I have a MacBook Pro. When I upload a fabric onto my computer the actual color of the product and the colored photo on the computer are the same. I can't control the quality of the images on a computer that the customer is using. I will not return something if it is not the color that you thought it would be. I would never intentionally misrepresent anything. It is my responsibility to make the customer happy, so my images are accurate!
Payment
Payment is by Paypal or credit card only. You may cancel within one business day, but because our shipping is done in such a timely fashion, we may not be able to retrieve a product once it is shipped.
Once the product is shipped you may not cancel.
Like a brick and mortar fabric shop, there are no returns on cut goods.
There are also no returns on printed goods such as patterns.
If something arrives damaged, I will replace it if you tell me within 1 day of receipt of product. I really don't want to replace an item that was damaged once it is in your home.
Shipping
I will provide you with a tracking number when the item is sent. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to at least attempt to track the product before telling me that it hasn't arrived.
I use the USPS and rarely have anything not make it to it's destination.
Most fabrics, regardless of the amount ship for a flat fee of $4.25. There are exceptions to this ie: heavy bulky fabrics like Cuddle, Minky, some flannels.

Frequently asked questions
Why was my fabric sold out when it was listed on the site?

Frequently people will put something in their cart and leave it there for several hours or days. It can be sold out in that time period, so, it's best to buy it when you see it!
