It all started with a wedding.

UPDATE APRIL 2014: I cannot believe it's been 6 months since I opened my little Etsy shop! As you can read below, this all started on a whim in October 2013, after a few friends suggested I sell some of the banners I made for my own wedding.

Now here I am, hundreds of banners later, having expanded my designs to all types of event decor for showers, birthday parties, holidays, bachelorette celebrations, and more. I've found myself in a position where I can even entertain someday being able to run my shop as my full time job, and for that I am so thankful to my sweet customers!

Going forward, my goal is to streamline production time and expand my inventory of ready-to-ship items, as well as to continue to create custom event decor for my clients. It is my hope that I am someday able to take the plunge and work in event design full time, offering both in-person event styling and coordinating services to the southern Maryland area, and of course creating and shipping my custom event decor all over the world.

OCTOBER 2013: I got engaged on Christmas Day 2012 and, like many women, threw myself straight into planning the wedding I'd always imagined. I've always had a soft spot for event planning and design, and I couldn't wait to start bringing this vision to life that I'd had in my head for years. Marrying my best friend was a nice bonus, too.

Much to my surprise, I found it incredibly difficult to find exactly what I was looking for. I scoured Etsy, spent hours on Pinterest, even searched high and low through home decor stores. Giving up, my mom and I dusted off an old sewing machine, purchased a Cricut, and took on the daunting task of creating just about everything for the wedding.

The work was slow and tedious to start, but once the creative juices started flowing, the event came together magically before our eyes. Boutonnieres, bunting, banners, save the date signs, table numbers, table runners, centerpiece design, bouquets, ribbon wands, and programs - there wasn't an aspect of the wedding that wasn't lovingly crafted by us in some way. Months of long nights and hard work finally came together on a cool August day in rural southern Maryland, as my husband and I exchanged vows and celebrated with loved ones.

Our wedding day was full of love, happiness, and laughter, but I don't think we realized the extent of our design success until we received our pictures from the photographer. Every detail came together in stunning unison, to create an event perfectly designed without being over the top. Within hours of posting the pictures to social media, I was bombarded with inquiries from other brides asking to purchase our items, or for help creating their own.

So here we are, ready and willing to take on any event or home design idea you have in mind. I'm so excited to see where this journey leads.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible. I will do everything I can to make it right, including taking the item back to be reworked or adjusted. Cash refunds can be offered on a case-by-case basis, but cannot be offered once your party/need date or the holiday has passed.
Please don't hesitate to chat with me before placing an order. In fact, I encourage it! I want to ensure that myself and my clients are on the same page before any work is done or money is spent. I am happy to discuss design ideas and create mock-ups before receiving payment; however, I cannot purchase supplies or begin work until full payment is received. Payment may be made via credit card direct checkout or PayPal.
At this time, I ship only to the continental US, the UK, Canada, and Australia. Shipping rates quoted in listings are estimates only and may be subject to change due to item size, quantity, or weight. All items will be shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. International deliveries may be subject to additional customs fees and delays.

Orders within the continental US are typically delivered within 2-3 business days of shipment. Please contact me if your order has not arrived within 2 business days of the estimated delivery date.
Additional policies and FAQs
Although I always include an estimated shipment date with each order, orders are completed based upon event date AND the order in which they were received. This means that on occasion, orders may be shipped after the Etsy-suggested shipping date. Please don't worry if this happens! I've never missed an event date and I won't start now! Be sure to include your event date in the notes to seller when checking out.

My standard turnaround time is about 3 weeks. Large or bulk orders are subject to a longer production time depending on workload. I started this shop as a night and weekend hobby, and it has quickly turned into a much busier endeavor than that! I greatly appreciate my customers' patience as I strive to meet growing demand.

***If an order is received with NO event date communicated, I will assume that the event is at least 3-4 weeks away and complete within the standard timeframe.***

Rush orders are defined as any order needed within three calendar weeks of the order being placed. Rush orders may be able to be completed upon request and are subject to a rush fee commensurate to the size of the rush order, beginning at $10.

Please convo me prior to placing any rush order to confirm availability and pricing. Rush orders placed without my approval are subject to cancellation and full refund if I feel unable to complete the order within the timeframe needed.
