The Rustic Merry Christmas decoration that I ordered is even prettier in person. This is truly exceptional craftsmanship. The color is very nice, too. The packing was well done and the shipment was quick. Thank you for a great piece of art that reflects our country life style.

A wonderful experience all around. Even better in person. One will be a great surprise for my husband's sister on Christmas morning. The other is our reward for getting her such a cool gift :-). Thank you, Kyle. We'll be back. Quickly shipped and carefully packed.

At Burdette Ironworks we forge and fabricate art for the home or business, with the intent to provide both functionality and aesthetic values. Artist Kyle Burdette constantly innovates to create new designs and effects through the use of items such as steel, copper, stone, and wood

Kyle and Kristin Burdette established Burdette Ironworks to satisfy desires of expression unattainable using modern forms of fabrication. As soon as the hammer fell on the first piece of hot, plastic like steel, Kyle was overwhelmed by the simple beauty of worked steel. The ability to create textures and designs by working hot steel fueled Kyle’s imagination and passion.

Kyle continued to work full time on his family’s dairy farm for many years after striking his first blow. He continued to work on projects as time allowed and worked to read and absorb all the information that he could. After many years of this he met and married his wife, Kristin, and with her support they took a leap of faith to open the doors of Burdette Ironworks. The road has been bumpy but nothing they have done before has been as satisfying as creating these forged and fabricated works of art. It elates them to know that the functional wares and works of art that are crafted at Burdette Ironworks bring joy to those who appreciate them.
