The pattern is apparently out of date and different to the video instructions which means if you were to just follow the PDF the stitch numbers wouldn't add up unfortunately. If you don't mind following the video, however, the project is quite fun. Wouldn't recommend for beginners because the video quality is low and fast paced so it's hard to see exactly what she's doing/which stitches she's going into etc. I ended up doing quite a lot of modifications to my beard but this pattern/video instructions was useful for getting started and getting the idea of how to make the texture effect. For the price it was definitely worth it and was fun to make.
