These rustic handmade sisal angels were the final touch to my Christmas tree this year. I love them, everyone loves them!! They look almost ethereal when the lights are on... thank you.
Thank you for supporting our busy hands for busy people.
*During December all items will be posted next day 1st Class delivery and items ordered before December 20th should meet you by Christmas.
This store started just for things I feel like crafting to keep my busy fidgety ADHD hands happy in lockdown.
However for December I'm promoting some guest crafters on my page! In a previous life when we could travel and go into people's houses I was very lucky to go adventuring to Kenya where I met wonderful friend Grace and staying in her home in Nairobi. \
Grace is a hard working busy woman, she's a single mother running her own bussiness which is housing travellers coming to Nairobi. As you can imagine her stable business she spent years working on isn't doing as well as it use too. Absolute nightmare - Grace is a busy woman, she likes to be kept busy, as do I so we teamed up and pulled in a friend of hers who is a single mother of two currently at home caring for a son with a broken leg to organise a Christmas online pop-up-shop.
All profits from any of the African items listed here go straight back to these two. Our prices might be a bit higher for some other people - as I just got them to quote me for their work and trusted them as creatives and friends and didn't haggle, just because you can squeeze something cheaper from someone doesn't always mean you should.
This is not a charity page. This is three busy business women keeping busy in a pandemic I'll post more updates from Grace as they come.
About my crafts on here:
I have high energy levels anyway and being in the house a lot more and then not being able to touch things as much has meant my hands have got fidgetier than usual and this is a healthy coping mechanism I have found to put them to use!
It's important at this time to do what is best for you to get through COVID. If keeping busy is right for you then do it in healthy safe ways that suit you, if you don't have the energy to create in a pandemic then thats ok, don't compare yourself online to people working out, baking or crafting, its ok if you are low energy.
I do not take commissions, unless you are willing to pay more as I need to organise my work flow. If a product is in stock and you want it grab it then as I have no idea when there will be more in, I might get distracted and make a different design, or go from crafting mask holders, to making planters from pallets to knitting things... these are all perfectly fine things to do. Flitting between phases on my hobby crafting helps me keep other commitments in my life more constant
Everything has been made with a lot of time and loving care and most prices are under what they should be for my work to be honest I'm just trying to make back hobbying money spent!
Enjoy your product!
