Love the image and quality of the button. By far, one of my favorite fan images of Fem Corrin!

Awesome company!! I ordered the Super Smash Bros buttons for my son's birthday party. I ordered 20 but a week before the party I had more people RSVP so I ordered 10 more. I contacted them to make sure I could get them before the party, they were very nice and started working on my ordered as soon as I put it in. The buttons came in just in time, they looked amazing and the kids loved them. Would highly recommend this company for all your button needs.

About

Humble Beginnings

Button Mashing started small, and by small we mean 40 or so different buttons we made a week before, tacked on a scarf we found in some box in the hotel holding Anime Oasis in Boise Idaho.

Anime Oasis 2010, (Button Mashing's first convention) a week or so after we graduated from high school, we decided to sell some buttons we made at a local con. As a graduation present from her mother, Mabs had received a button machine and Niku, Mabs and Nami decided to give it a go.

Nami made the entire cast of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Niku made Left 4 Dead, Mabs made the Axis and Allies of Hetalia, and this is where Button Mashing started.
After making around 300 dollars, the button machine had paid itself and we found this a success, wanting to continue our endeavor at our next local con, Fandemonium.
DCS, a good friend of ours, offered to join in making buttons, exploding our selection and forcing an upgrade to display (that we're still changing and upgrading all the time) and setting us on our path.

Since then, we've added our 5th artist, Luke, sales and success has only risen and our selection grows more and more every convention. We make a point to return to Fandemonium every year in the summer and we wish to bring affordable merchandise and original art to any and every con goer or fan we can, pushing ourselves as artists and as a small business.

Shop members

  • Niku

    Owner, Maker, Curator, Artist, Shipping

General head honcho and one of our five artists, Niku has been here since Button Mashing's humble beginnings. When she isn't running the shop or getting tables at conventions, she usually kicks back and plays slews of video games.

  • Mabs

    Artist

Mabs is one of our five artists as well as the person who enabled Button Mashing to exist by purchasing our button machine. Hardworking, she graduated from a top college and is currently teaching English in Japan!

  • Nami

    Artist

Nami is one of our 5 artists and without her entire Super Smash Bros. roster of buttons, we probably wouldn't have gotten off the ground. Nami is a huge fan (the biggest fan) of Disgaea, an animator, and currently working for Lab Zero on Skullgirls!

  • DCS

    Artist

DCS was our first extra addition to Button Mashing in terms of artists, and a good one at that! Having contributed the most in terms of button designs, DCS' passion lies in comics and sees Nami as an art rival. DCS makes the comic Space School!

  • Luke

    Artist

Luke is our most recent addition to our vibrant team of artists! Talented and fittingly met at art school, she has been a close friend ever since. When she isn't helping at conventions, she's usually kicking back and playing games alongside Niku.

Shipping
Most orders are shipped at the latest, 3 days after they are purchased. Big Orders may take up to 4, due to the envelope size.
Our standard shipping takes only 3 - 5 days for arrival!
We ship all of our buttons in bubble mailers for protection, faster shipping, and quality assurance.

Price:
In terms of shipping pricing, we apologize for the recently skyrocketed prices and are sad to say there's nothing to be done about it. We charge as bare minimum for shipping as possible. The labels themselves have recently become very expensive and we hope you understand and will bear with us!
Refunds and Exchanges
If your button(s) arrive in absolutely unusable condition, or don't arrive at all, we will refund you 100%, or ship out free replacements. Take your pick!

The customer always deserves the best of what they pay for or their money back, so always make sure to contact us if you think something is wrong or damaged.

That said, we cannot do anything about small dents from traveling thru the postal system. We pack our buttons as best as possible, but the system can be brutal and that is unfortunately out of our hands.
Additional policies and FAQs
Feel free to leave us any suggestions about buttons you might like to see in the shop!
We love feedback and read all of your comments you leave us on your orders!
