From a Kitchen Table to the Beaches of Normandy
My love for World War II began when I was a little girl, sitting in the kitchen with my father. He shared stories of a past era, and I was captivated. We would talk for hours about the great victories and challenges of military life and especially WWII. I began to read every book I could find, immersing myself in the history and the stories of courage and sacrifice. For a time, I even dreamed of joining the United States Air Force, a dream that, while never realized, fueled a lifelong passion.
As I grew older, my fascination continued. I found new ways to connect with the past—watching old movies, diving into historical accounts, and collecting small pieces of that time. The connection I felt was profound, a deep respect for the men and women who lived through that incredible era.
Recently, I had the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream: I traveled to Normandy, France, with my 16-year-old daughter. Walking the historic beaches, standing on the hallowed ground, and seeing the places I had only read about brought the history to life in a powerful and personal way. It was there that I began collecting, not just as a hobby, but as a way to honor the past.
The items I found—each with its own story—became a deeply personal collection.
Now, I want to share that passion with you. This shop was born from a desire to honor, respect, and share these remarkable treasures with the public. Every piece in our collection is a part of that journey, a tangible link to a pivotal moment in human history.
