Announcement   Welcome! My name is Amy, and my artist identity is "Buttons McTavish". Why "Buttons"? It's simply a silly, fun, catchy handle that I thought up on a whim one day. I'm an artist from York County, Pennsylvania, with a BFA in Illustration from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia. My passion is portraiture, and the mediums I mostly use these days are pencil or acrylic paint on both canvas and paper, along with archival prints of my digital work.

This painting is absolutely beautiful! The colors in the picture are true to real life. The painting arrived quickly and it was packaged very well. Buttons even refunded part of the shipping when she mailed it because it was slightly overestimated at the beginning (honest vendor!!). She also checked in after to make sure everything arrived safely. 5 stars!

Highly recommended Seller! Amy/Buttons went above and beyond from a business standpoint. She promptly mailed the portrait using expedited delivery service to meet my timetable. She quickly refunded extra postage that had been paid. The portrait arrived on time and packaged with care. Amy even checked in with me to make sure that it arrived safely. n nI love the portrait and it is every bit as represented in the Buttons shop. It was the perfect feature for a Wodehouse-themed tea that I was involved in, as you can see in the submitted photo. n nFinally, I loved working with Amy herself. She is a delightful person and we've continued to correspond long after the transaction was concluded. This transaction has represented Etsy at its finest. I have been pleased to meet and support Amy and her artwork.

Drawing & painting portraits has been a lifelong passion of mine. I have painted landscapes, designed business cards, website artwork, and sewn soft toys for clients. I draw my inspiration from other artists, writers, nature, music and people around me, including right here on Etsy.

If you have something in mind that you would like to request, please contact me.

Payment
I take any of the payment forms listed on my Etsy shop. I do not ship until I have received payment in full.
Shipping
At the moment, I am generally getting items out within the space of 1 week at the latest, but often in just a few days. I'd estimate within two weeks for overseas.
Refunds and Exchanges
I take great care in packaging my artwork, and have years of experience in successfully sending undamaged artwork, world-wide, in a variety of packaging methods. Should any damage occur to your item during shipping, I will work with you, so that I may fulfill your order, completely. In the end, my goal is to send you the artwork that you initially sought, so that you are completely satisfied with it.

If you are unhappy with the item you receive, and would rather return it, I will happily refund it, and the cost of shipping it back to me, upon the return of the artwork, within the span of the first six months after purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please contact me to discuss any custom orders, such as portraits or other types of paintings or drawings. I am willing to discuss options such as subject matter, mediums, painting grounds and sizes.

If the item you want is a painting (or print) and is already taken, I can often offer copies of the original work, in the form of prints.

Please let me know, at any time, if you have questions, suggestions or are disappointed, and I will do my best to make it right for you! I want you to be happy with your purchase and buying experience.
