Need a hat, fascinator or hatinator now? Please check the Ready to Wear Section of my shop. Confusing, but Etsy does not make it transparent that an item is made to order. So, unless it is listed in the READY TO WEAR section of my shop, the pieces you see will be Made to Order, and takes anything up to four weeks before shipping – thanks.
Want a custom design? Please feel free to message me today! It is always advisable to have a picture of the dress or outfit you wish to pair with your headwear. If you have extra material available, I can always incorporate this into your hat/fascinator/hatinator to ensure your piece is special to you alone. Once a custom order is placed, please be on the lookout for communication as your headwear progresses. Upon completion, I will send a final photo for your approval before shipping out to you.

I would be remiss if I didn’t take the time to express my absolute pleasure in sharing the stellar customer service, attention to detail and just overall wonderful experience I received from “ByAlphaCouture”. My fascinator is a masterpiece, it’s a work of art and such a show piece. Janet the owner professionalism was bar none, she has the patience of Job in dealing with my annoying questions, she is easy to work with and very accommodating. The best part of this experience, I was able to create my own custom color to match my dress, it was perfect, which is now known as the “Jackie Fascinator”. Sizing details
How to measure your head size (if ordering a hat). Measuring for your head size is both an art and a science. To figure out what size you wear, you will need to find a cloth measuring tape. Measure the circumference of your head at the place where you would wear a hat. Take the measurement in inches and refer to the chart below. If you are in between two sizes, choose the bigger size. You can always pad a hat smaller.

21 - 21.75 Small
22 - 22.5 Medium
22.75 - 23 Large
23+ X-Large
Care instructions
Any attempt to wash your headpiece will make them lose their shape and sometimes even wash away the colors. From experience, I know that even applying a damp sponge is not advisable as this can create permanent staining – I once tried to clean make up stains on the brim of my hat – bad move! Tip – to avoid make up stains, place a small piece of carpenter’s tape (the color of the fascinator, if possible) directly under the brim to avoid it touching your forehead before (or even whilst) wearing – good luck!
If you need to clean your fascinator or hat, we recommend removing any dust or particles with a low tack adhesive tape.
Custom and personalized orders
While I can color match pictures sent via email it is best if you can send in a piece of your outfit’s fabric or similar color (if applicable) for custom and personalized orders. Screens differ tremendously and my perception of what your outfit color is could be deceiving. Alternatively, I could mail you swatches of colors I have available. This will ensure we get the whole look perfect for you.
