About

ByBella beautiful hand forged jewelry for a cause--sheltering and educating homeless and orphaned children and street survivors

Making jewelry was an expression of my creativity as an artist. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother and have so much to be grateful for in life. I learned how to silver smith and became a metal smith about 12 years ago and find great fulfillment in designing and creating jewelry that helps support a wonderful cause. I am inspired by the many countries I have lived in and visited, and by nature and the beauty of God's creation. My jewelry is an expression of who I am and I am passionate about using it for the good of others. My husband and I founded 3 street children's shelters in the Philippines to give an opportunity to abandoned, orphaned, and abused children to live in a safe home, receive an education, and be empowered to create a good life for themselves. I have had the privilege of training street survivors to become jewelers as part of our sustainable livelihood program, and 40% of the profit from my jewelry sales goes to support the shelters and the livelihood program. (www.humanility.org)

I believe that creating and selling high quality jewelry is an alternative to asking for donations. People are receiving a high quality product and are able to help the poor at the same time--definitely a win-win! :-)
