Casalanas was born inspired by knitting artisans, by the colors of our nature and by our wonderful fibers. We decided to enter the world of sustainable fashion that will make you feel proud to wear it because it has a beautiful and important story behind it. Yarns and wool purchased directly from alpaca and sheep breeders and producers who treat the animals with respect and dye the fibers with natural products, in this way we benefit the true conservatives of these ancient fibers and collaborate with our ecosystem. With Casalanas you will have access to the best fibers: Alpaca, treasure of the Andes, Peruvian and imported merino sheep and our finest cotton
Casalanas nació de mi amor por el tejido y, sobre todo, de una pregunta: ¿cómo me habría gustado que me enseñaran a mí?
Cuando empecé a aprender, muchas veces encontraba tutoriales en los que faltaban explicaciones, pasos importantes o detalles que me dejaban con dudas. Y cuando estás aprendiendo, esas pequeñas dudas pueden convertirse en frustración y hacer que una prenda que parecía sencilla termine siendo un verdadero reto.
Por eso decidí crear mis propios tutoriales.
Los hago pensando en quienes, como yo, necesitan ver y entender cada paso. En cada tutorial intento no dejar nada a la incertidumbre: muestro el proceso completo, explico paso a paso cómo se construye la prenda y trato de hacerlo de una manera clara y fácil de seguir, incluso si estás empezando a tejer.
Sé que para una principiante puede ser un gran desafío hacer una prenda desde cero. Por eso pongo mucha empatía y cariño en cada tutorial, tratando de anticiparme a las dudas que pueden surgir durante el tejido.
Y si aun así tienes alguna pregunta, no estás sola. Puedes escribirme y con mucho gusto te orientaré para que puedas continuar y terminar tu proyecto.
Ese es el verdadero espíritu de Casalanas: crear tutoriales como me hubiera gustado encontrarlos cuando yo estaba aprendiendo. Tutoriales claros, completos y hechos con cariño, para que puedas disfrutar del proceso de tejer y sentir la satisfacción de decir: “¡Lo hice yo!” 🧶💕

Casalanas was born from my love for knitting and, above all, from one simple question: How would I have liked to be taught?
When I first started learning, I often came across tutorials where important steps or details were left unexplained, leaving me with questions. And when you’re learning, those little doubts can quickly become frustrating and make a project that seemed simple feel like a real challenge.
That’s why I decided to create my own tutorials.
I make them thinking about people who, like me, need to see and understand every step. In each tutorial, I try not to leave anything to guesswork. I show the entire process, explain step by step how the garment is constructed, and make everything as clear and easy to follow as possible—even if you’re just starting to knit.
I know that for a beginner, making a garment from scratch can feel like a big challenge. That’s why I put a lot of empathy and care into every tutorial, trying to anticipate the questions and difficulties that may come up along the way.
