Ethical 925 sterling silver, gold and precious jewellery

Handmade sterling silver, gold and precious stone jewellery in contemporary designs, forms, settings and techniques from traditional and innovative silversmithing methods.
Each piece is hand-fabricated and no casting is used in the creation of my work unless fully stated.
Each design is inspired by Plant forms that symbolise concepts of growth, protection, confidence, bravery and many other soothing sentiments.
All of my pieces have inlays of political and environmental principles that reflect humanities emotional connection with nature through the use of a material underappreciated in the jewellery making industry known as Ecosilver or Ecogold.

ECOSILVER and ECOGOLD are available for purchase from select metalsmithing suppliers such as cooksongold, where any scrap metal received from clients or customers is recycled, remade into pliable materials and resold in a variety of forms suited for industry use. The purchase and use of this material no way impacts on the quality and fine content of the sterling silver 925 or Gold depending on which carat. This means that resources are being reused to create beautiful objects without taking more precious materials through mining or creating more high resource labour for saturated communities.

Blooming pods, fragile structures and plant morphology is the main inspiration for my work as well as looking at Structure, form, texture and contrast qualities.

Using innovative alternatives to traditional silversmith/jewellery techniques and materials my pieces consider sustainability, ethics and equality from raw material continuing to finished product ensuring fair trade standards throughout the creative process.
