Ciao sono Claire la proprietaria / creatrice di CD Comfort Designs. Circa un anno fa ho iniziato a lavorare a maglia principalmente per passare un po 'di tempo e come attività di consapevolezza per aiutare con la mia salute mentale e ansia, soffrire di ansia può essere una cosa davvero difficile da affrontare, e una parte fondamentale del recupero è trovare qualcosa che ti porti pace e gioia. Beh, una cosa ha portato ad un'altra ed eccomi qui. Chi sapeva che giocare con un po 'di lana potesse essere così rilassante e divertente, ho fatto alcune cose belle di cui sono super orgogliosa come le mie piccole zucche a maglia e alcune cose non sono andate secondo i piani come la volta in cui ho fatto al cane un maglione con un collo così grande che ogni volta che lo spostava si trasformava in un piccolo numero di taglio basso. Ci sono solo così tanti cappelli che puoi fare per amici e familiari e quanti saltatori il cane mi lascerà spremere su di lui. Così ho pensato di condividere parte del mio lavoro con altri appassionati di maglieria e lana. La mia attività potrebbe essere solo piccola, ma tutto ciò che vendo mi fa andare avanti nel mio viaggio a maglia e nella salute mentale.

Hi I'm Claire the owner/creator for CD Comfort Designs. About a year ago I started knitting mainly to pass some time and as a mindfulness activity to help with my mental heath and anxiety, suffering with anxiety can be a really hard thing to deal with, and a key part of recovery is to find something that brings you peace and joy. Well one thing has led to another and here I am. Who knew playing around with some wool could be so relaxing and fun, I've made some beautiful things that I am super proud of like my little knitted pumpkins and some stuff hasn't quite gone to plan like the time I made the dog a jumper with such a large neck that every time he moved it turned into a little low cut number. There are only so many hats you can make for friends and family and how many jumpers the dog will let me squeeze onto him. So I thought I'd share some of my work with other knitting and wool enthusiasts. My business might only be small but everything I sell keeps me going on my knitting and mental heath journey.
