I have had my eye on these leaf pieces for at least a year now. Let me tell, they did not disappoint. They are absolutely gorgeous. I received compliments from the first day wearing the set. Just the beginning of my collection.

This is gorgeous. An art piece. An heirloom piece. I will cherish it.

About

Life is a creative journey.

There is no line between work and play in our household; my husband Scott and I are driven to create and have designed our life around the workshop.

He is a woodcarver, bonsai-enthusiast, avid beader, and outdoorsman. I am a jewelry-maker, weaver, painter-with-beads. We collaborate. We teach and encourage the artist within others.

Here on Etsy you'll find my jewelry, made by hand; from metal sheet and wire I solder and hand-polish frames to encapsulate bead micro-mosaics.

From designs I fabricate, Sean and Bonnie of Au Cornerstone cast frames of sterling silver using the lost wax casting process. Each casting is marked with a flower stamp in addition to the quality and CDL hallmark. The micro-mosaics are inlaid by me.

Elizabeth's handmade lifelike glass berries are included in some of my jewelry.

All my artworks incorporate micro-mosaics in some way. I am a one-woman-show, designing and fabricating by hand...the joy is in the journey.

The micro-mosaics are very durable; I use epoxy to secure the beads before applying the grout, which adds another layer of durability.

Because of the nature of the materials used, the jewelry should never be twisted, pinched, or bent. For this reason, when purchasing a cuff bracelet, you'll want to take measurements of your wrist to be sure it will fit.

You may clean the micro-mosaics with soap and water and a soft bristle brush. The metal portions may be cleaned with a polishing cloth impregnated with polishing compound, but be careful not to get the compound on the beaded areas as it may discolor the lighter colors of grout.
