Meet the Photographer: Chasing the Extraordinary
Hello and welcome to my shop! I am Christopher Harrison, an award-winning landscape and nature photographer with a deep passion for capturing the world’s most fleeting, magical moments. From the ancient woodlands of the English countryside to the dramatic, sweeping vistas of the Scottish Highlands and the romantic valleys of Tuscany, my goal is to bring the breathtaking beauty of the outdoors directly into your home.

The Art of the Chase
For me, photography isn't just about pointing a camera; it’s about the thrill of the chase. You will usually find me out in the elements long before dawn, tracking weather systems and heading into the wilderness in pursuit of that one perfect, rare convergence of nature. Whether I am waiting for the exact moment golden sunbeams pierce through a woodland canopy or braving the freezing cold to capture pristine hoar frost over a still loch, my absolute favorite thing to do is chase spectacular, atmospheric conditions, from rolling mist and dense fog to fresh snow and glorious morning light.

My Gear & Process
To ensure every single detail is captured with absolute perfection, I shoot primarily with a Sony a7R IV paired with three Sigma lenses - the 14-24mm Art, the 24-70mm Art and the 70-200mm Sports Lens. This incredibly high-resolution camera paired with excellent lenses is the reason my images can be printed at massive, statement-making sizes without losing an ounce of sharpness, texture, or clarity. For those unique, perspective-bending shots that completely change how we view a landscape, I take to the skies with my DJI drone, allowing me to find compositions that are completely entirely unique.

Every photograph in this shop represents a genuine labor of love and an unforgettable adventure. I believe that fine art should be printed to match the immense effort it took to capture it. That’s why I partner exclusively with theprintspace to offer my work on premium C-Type Fuji Matt paper. This ensures that the vibrant colors, deep moody shadows, and ethereal lighting I witnessed in person are translated flawlessly to the artwork hanging on your walls, free from any distracting glare.
