Endless Tangles of Love!
Welcome to CJ Tangles! My name is Karisa. I am blessed to be the mother of a vivacious four year old son. Inspiration for each one of my designs is often sourced from a variety of places, whether it is a Salvador Dali painting or a wooden toy that my son is playing with at the time. I am very intuitive in nature and absorb the spirit of my surroundings as I create.
As a wife to an amazing husband and a precious little boy, I named my Etsy shop after my son Christian. The word "tangles" is meaningful because that is what he did to my heart the moment he first bounced into my life. I believe that each item I create in my shop is tangled with love and that anyone who receives one of these gifts will be part of an endless tangle of knots that illuminate the world.

I play in a variety of artistic mediums to occupy my mind while exploring the different emotions that rise to the surface. I often create my jewelry designs based on the emotions that I feel at the time whether they are love, compassion, mercy or a combination of several. I believe that each one of my personalized jewelry designs carries with it a whisper of my soul that will share a breath of emotion with the person who wears it.
The love I have for my son also inspires each one of my jewelry designs. He can often be found sitting right next to me in my home studio, hammering away on his make-believe tool bench with the eagerness of a child wanting to imitate his precious mother as she creates a unique piece of wearable art.
My handmade ethos is closely wrapped in the belief that, by creating with my hands, I can share the emotion and energy used during the design process. I am spiritually and creatively blessed to share my work with the handmade marketplace.
