Announcement   ONE OF A KIND HANDMADE JEWELRY

NOTE: I have just opened an additional shop that will be strictly for my metal designs. Please visit me at metalmagic45 to see my creations.

The road that led me to designing jewelry began with the craze for beaded wine glass markers. I decided to make a set myself, and went to a bead store to get some supplies. The bead shop had a table for customers who would like to learn to do simple bead stringing, and I was talked into making a beaded bracelet for myself. One bracelet and I WAS HOOKED on beads! Bead stringing led to sterling silver wirework, and sterling silver wirework led to working with metals, and copper in particular.

I love making all types of jewelry, and in the past several years I’ve concentrated on copper metalwork in particular. If I have a frustrating day, I can always grab some copper and pound a design into it! I use sterling silver accents in some of my pieces, and frequently hang my copper pendants on sterling silver chain, or copper chain. Many of my pieces have Swarovski crystal or gemstones incorporated into the design.

Much of my jewelry is one of a kind, but I would be happy to duplicate a piece if I have the material available.

I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida with my cat, Pumpkin. Pumpkin is always willing to help supervise my work from the side of my work table.

I donate 20% of all my sales to the Humane Society.
