Announcement   After a little break doing local art and Craft fairs I have decided to put things in my shop and give it a whirl so in the middle of January or perhaps the end you will start to see new things...YAY!!!
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Deep in the enchanted gardens of Dragonfly Alley, the gypsy faerie Euphraxia and all the other faeries, elves and pixy's were having a celebration. They danced and they sang till they made themselves dizzy. The best part of the day was when they were CaTcHiNgDrAgOnFLiEs!

Welcome to CaTcHiNgDrAgOnFLiEs!!! You will find a great selection of sweaters and fun whimsical items using light weight sweaters and recycled knits. You can find us now on face book by typing in Catching Dragonflies or clicking the face book like button near the top right corner of my shops main page.

My shop is a labor of love and I hope the new creations bring a smile to your face and and make you want to dance and sing and perhaps catch a dragonfly or two.

Really beautifully made. Nice fabric choices. Is a little short on top but I will still wear her. Thank you for the gorgeous piece of art and the good communication! Will definitely do business with again!

Everything we do to help recycle, up cycle, reuse or recreate is saving our landfills and helping to save our planet. Sometimes people think that their item doesn't matter because it is only 1 thing. Every little bit matters and together we will have a great impact on the earth. Your purchase is doing just that. I have great fun rescuing sweaters and other knits and love creating something new out of them.
I hope you will love them too!

Shipping
I will do my best to ship within a few business days of your purchase. Many times I ship it out the the next day. In the United states I will send your treasure out either regular first class with a delivery confirmation or priority. Whichever is the the best and most affordable. If you need it sooner just let me know and we can set up payment for a quicker way. Outside of the United states I am sorry but there is no way of international tracking so you accept to ship at your own risk. If your package gets lost or does not arrive to you, I will not refund your purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
Before I will exchange ANYTHING, you and I must touch base! I will only take back something that has never been worn or washed. I will not take back any item that has been on reserve or custom ordered. No exceptions...sorry. This has to happen with in 1 week of receiving it. If I have taken up the sleeves, made them longer or altered it in any way for you, It is not returnable. If I have created a custom order for you it is also not returnable. Sometimes custom pieces can be completed quickly and sometimes they take a bit longer. Please be patient :) Shipping costs are not refundable. I want you to love your new piece of wearable art. I want you to feel like you have stepped into one of the magical stories that inspired their creation. I understand also that sometimes the fit is not quite right. If so I will be happy to take back something for exchange. If you need to have a credit with my shop I will gladly keep track of it for you. Also, If you want to keep it looking great you need to hand wash in cold water and a little bit of mild soap and lay flat to dry. If you put it into a washer and dryer you do so at your own risk. If there is no wool in it you might be able to on a gentle cycle and an air dry but like I said before you do so at your own risk.
Additional policies and FAQs
Each piece was made from old sweaters and that means that there are always going to be imperfections. Woo Hoo! They have a personality of their own because of them! You might find a loose thread, a color variation, or a not so straight seam. That is exactly what makes your piece unique. Cherish these imperfections! I have over 30 years of sewing experience and have sewn these together with expertise and a little bit of faerie magic. If you snag your sweater just pull the thread through to the other side. Do not cut it off. If you get a little hole. Darn it like you would your favorite pair of old socks. It is only going to add your character to it :)! Most of all, love your new treasure and it will love you back :)!
