I am a Full Time Deputy Sheriff K9 Handler in California. I began painting firearms and other tactical gear as a hobby for myself, my friends and co-workers. As I soon found out, my work began to be sought after as my hobby began to grow. I was tired of paying high prices for materials such as vinyl stencils, so I bought my own plotter cutter and began to make my own. I found that many other people needed quality stencils without the price gouging. So, I began to sell the stencils I used for my projects to them. That led me to Etsy. In addition to vinyl cutting, I found an interest in kydex molding.
I had purchased a new gun and wanted a kydex holster for it. I went to my local gun shop and found the most basic of kydex holsters to be north of $85. This blew me away and I knew the products were insanely overpriced. This is what started my kydex journey. After hours and hours of research, I began making my own kydex holsters. There was absolutely no reason people should be paying the inflated prices on kydex products so I began to offer my holsters for sale. I truly believe that if I can offer a quality product and over half off of the main stream guys, thus saving other enthusiasts money then why not do that. So I did and do with my Etsy store. They say cheaper isn't always better but what if its the same? I don't claim to have the best of everything but I would say i'm tied for first. I don't have any overhead and I don't rely on the money my hobbies generate; That's why I have a job. Not only does that allow me to be stress free from sells and revenue, it allows me to beat others when it does come to pricing...helping you! Thanks for stopping by!
