Elegant design, high-quality materials, and fine craftsmanship make each hand-turned piece a delight that will last a lifetime.

Made with a wide variety of woods and techniques, each of Cal’s pieces is an individual. No patterns or calibration are used during the process, as the artist carefully shapes each one with only his hands as guides.

Cal creates many of his pieces with a specific person in mind; he loves doing custom work. They’re made with 100% non-toxic materials and covered with a non-toxic, water-tight finish. They can be used and hand-washed safely.

Each piece is a true labor of love; they can take over a year to complete, from start to finish. First, he harvests the wood (usually, this is recycled from the debris of a bad Arizona storm) with his own hands. He breaks the wood into smaller, more workable pieces, and then allows these pieces to dry slowly. This part can take a very long time. Next, he turns the wood with a series of tools, and then he finishes the pieces by sanding, polishing, and finally sealing the pieces.

Cal’s work has just the right amount of tasteful sentimentality. Since each piece is 100% unique, you’ll never see another one exactly like it. They make perfect gifts for those special people and occasions:

    Graduations
    Birthdays
    Weddings
    Births of new babies
