This covered wagon with its team of oxen is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is superb. I expected it to be wonderful from the photograph, but seeing it in person is even more impressive. The wheels turn flawlessly, and the barrel on the side of the wagon boasts fine detail. The oxen come to life with their leather ears and tails, looking quite patient in their yoke. The cover on the wagon is made from sturdy canvas (different from the one in the photograph because Eric noticed a spot on the original and wanted it to be perfect) and looks so authentic. When I first opened the box, I noticed that there was an envelope in the bed of the wagon. Inside was a small object wrapped in brown tissue paper. I opened it up and there was the most charming tiny mouse, complete with leather ears and tail! I guess he has hopped on board for the trip to Oregon. Thank you, Eric, for such a beautifully made toy. It will be enjoyed and treasured, a wonderful family heirloom to pass down through the generations.
