As designers, nothing makes us happier than creating something with our own hands. Born out of desire to keep our hands busy and stoke the fires of creativity, Calico Creates evolved as the product design arm of Calico Studio. While Calico Studio is largely made up of architectural and graphic design services providing innovative designs with a personal touch, Calico Creates shares the same values in its ever-growing line of product design creations.

We strive to challenge the conventional. Through our design development we combine visual and tactile strategies to create products that are one-of-a-kind unique pieces of art. Our talented team makes every effort to push the common design envelope to make unique, innovative and modern products you won’t see anywhere else.

One of the highlights of our creations is our line of cloth-back vinyl bracelets. Vinyl is a relatively new material to the world. It is durable, lightweight, environmentally friendly, versatile, and low maintenance (how many bracelets do you own that can be cleaned in a dishwasher?). We also strive to reduce our eco-footprint by sourcing our materials from local companies. For example, our vinyl comes from the scraps of a local business that makes dental chairs. Our Ness’E bracelet is actually made of scraps of scraps from the cut up bits-and-pieces of vinyl used to make the other bracelets. Combine our fresh designs and flare with this innovative, eco-friendly material and you have a truly original 100% handmade product that you can feel good about wearing.
