Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If you are not satisfied with your online purchase you may return items within 15 days of original purchase. Shipping costs will not be refunded and are the responsibility of the customer.

To qualify for a merchandise refund, items must be returned in original, unused condition in original packaging.

Note: We do not offer exchanges at this time.


1. Message us first and let us know the reason for your return.
2. Include a print out of your order confirmation in your return shipment along with the items you are returning.
3. Pack product in suitable packaging to ensure it is not damaged* while in transit.
4. You will receive a message once your return has been processed.

*Please note that California Ave is not responsible for products lost or damaged while in transit.

If an order has been shipped the money has been paid to the United States Post Office and is non-refundable. This applies to returned orders, canceled orders, wrong address, refunds, and any other orders that have been dropped off at and processed through the United States Postal Service.

If your item was received damaged please send us a message and INCLUDE A PHOTO of the damaged item and/or packing so that we can process your claim.
Orders will be processed and shipped within one to three business days, excluding holidays and weekends. Items normally ship via USPS First-Class Mail. Actual transit times are 5 to 10 days from shipment. A shipping confirmation email including a tracking number will be sent once your order has shipped.

We only ship out orders twice a week on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

If you wish to UPGRADE your shipping to PRIORITY you can do so AT CHECKOUT.

If the address you provided is incorrect please contact us before your order is shipped. We are not responsible for orders once they have been placed in the mail.

Put Jewelry On After Applying Makeup – Cosmetics, hairspray, perfumes and lotion can contain chemicals that can often damage jewelry. Putting jewelry on after applying these materials will limit exposure to jewelry and any potential damage.

Don't Wear Jewelry While Swimming or in Spas – Chlorinated water can react with the metals and materials found in jewelry causing color changes and even structural damage. Salt water can also be very corrosive. As a result it's a good idea to remove jewelry before entering the pool, ocean or spa.

Remove Your Jewelry Before Bathing – Remove all jewelry before showering or cleaning. Soap can cause a film to form, making it appear dull and dingy. It can also cause discoloration.
This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through or its related sites and services.

When will my order ship?

Orders will be processed and shipped within one to three business days, excluding holidays and weekends. Wholesale orders can take up to 2 weeks to process.

Why is my tracking information not updating?

Once your package has shipped, it may take up to 48 hours for tracking information to appear on a carrier’s website.

I ordered the wrong items or put the wrong address, what do I do?

Once you place an order, you cannot make changes through the store. Please message us as soon as possible, so we can correct your order before the goods ship.

Care instructions

In order to insure a long shiny life for your new California Ave earrings please refrain from exposing them to water for long periods of time and spraying harsh hair/beauty products on them.
