CampanaCeramics is taking a short break

Note from shop owner OK, Good news! I feel very good about the new work I've been developing and will soon re-open my shop! Sometime in mid-May. Please be patient. I want to make this work the best it can possibly be and have plenty of it in stock before re-launch.

This cup is incredible! The glaze is soft and vibrant, the form and rim and thoughtfully designed and foot is perfectly smooth.

All items here are made by me in my garage studio. I formulate and mix my own clay and glazes. I throw on the wheel, trim, and then decorate with a completely original and exclusive process of dissecting and reassembling the piece in the leather hard state. The lines on the surface appear on the inside as well as the outside, as they are actual seams, not just incising.

You may have noticed that my work isn't as inexpensive as most pottery here, and that is because of the huge amount of effort I put into these pots, and my high standards for things I sell. I only sell flawless, beautiful work that I am proud of, and destroy anything not up to my standards. Rest assured that what you ordered will be of the highest quality. Check my incredible customer feedback if you have any doubt!

  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover

  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
I only accept electronic payments, in the form of direct credit card/gift certificate through Etsy, or Paypal.

I no longer accept personal checks or money orders. These are the preferred methods of payment for phishing scams, which have been coming in frequently these days. I have found it best to just have a policy of not accepting checks to avoid this problem altogether. Sorry if this causes you inconvenience, but really, credit cards and Paypal have built-in fraud protection for BOTH parties, so it is better for everyone if we just do away with checks by mail.
When I receive notice that you purchased something, I will send you a quick Convo letting you know when I will get it in the mail. I try to ship within 24 hours whenever possible. Due to my having a job, I cannot ship on Mondays or Wednesdays, which are my teaching days.

I ship via USPS Priority. It is the most affordable option for the scale of box that also has tracking. Price listed is the average cost. Some places, a mug will cost $5, while others, it will cost $9. Over the years, I have found a price that is a reasonable average of what it costs me to ship. I am not trying to glean any hidden profit off the shipping or anything like that. If you absolutely cannot wait and need it overnight, I can arrange Express Shipping and then bill you the difference in cost. Please contact me BEFORE purchase if this is the case.

Now shipping WORLDWIDE!

Please read this nice post clarifying some important things about international shipping before ordering.

For international orders, First Class International is my favorite choice, as it is only a fraction of the cost of insured Priority shipping or UPS International. Any package weighing more than 4 pounds will cost USD 40+ to ship because it has to be sent via Priority International. I have found that small objects such as cups are quite affordable to ship internationally while larger items such as pitchers can become quite costly to ship overseas. I try to quote the most accurate price possible and err on the side of cheaper for you.

I do not pay the shipper for insurance. My plan is to pack the work so that there is virtually no chance of breakage, and then if something somehow defies all odds and breaks, I will refund or replace at MY expense. In the 500+ items I have shipped here on Etsy, I have had just ONE breakage, and learned from my mistake. I have found it very difficult for customers to actually get insurance payments from shipping companies and don't want you or me to have to jump through their hoops or give them money they don't deserve.

I want my work to be a luxury experience, and therefore, I package it nicely. The work will be secured in white foam wrap, and at least two inches of packing peanuts on all sides. I use only virgin packing materials, except sometimes I may reuse peanuts in a pinch. You will not find gross things like cigarette smoke, dust, old shopping bags, etc. in my packaging. You also won't find candy, handwritten notes, ribbons, or invoices. You will just find a stunning work of art and the materials required to safely bring it to it's new home. Invoices are available for reference and download on Etsy for those who want them. I am happy to print out a message if the item is a gift for someone, just send me a convo or include info on the "Message to Seller" part of the checkout process and I'll get it done.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to feel comfortable ordering from me. I offer two kinds of returns. If the item arrives broken, cracked, chipped or in some other way flawed, I will replace or refund. I will pay for the return shipment or (preferably) have you send me a photo of the flaw, then a photo of the piece after you destroy it. This is highly unlikely as I inspect everything several times and package well, but nonetheless, things can happen and I want you to know that I will make it right.

If you purchase an item and decide that it isn't the right piece for you, please let me know right away. I will have you ship it back to me at your expense, and I can then ship you another one at my expense, or refund your money, whichever works best for the situation.

I truly am happy to take returns. My main goal here is to get my work into the hands of happy customers, and I will do whatever it takes within reason to keep you, my customer, happy.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please feel free to contact me with wholesale inquiries, or custom orders. I will let you know my terms and whether or not I can do a particular project for you. Only a fraction of my inventory is represented here, so if you are interested in a particular form in a particular color, there is a decent chance that I have it in stock, just not on Etsy yet.
