This is this second urn I have purchased. I love that each urn is just as unique as my beloved pups.
Candace McCollough, Connection through Vessels
As a member of the Cabbagetown Clay and Glassworks, one has the freedom and the support to pursue any form of clay work one chooses.
I choose to mainly create and design vessels. It is satisfying and rewarding to help people find a special and unique resting or holding place for their loved ones. I was influenced to pursue this when I myself was in search of an unique and artfully-produced vessel.
Our co-op is small. We each work according to our own schedule and are able to display our items for sale in a small gallery located in front of the space.
The raku firing takes place in my back yard. I use a low-budget kiln with a portable burner. Colleagues are always eager to help with the process which can be exhilarating and awe-inspiring. No two pieces are ever identical.
Maker, Designer, Glazer, Firer, Photographer And Shipper
Georgian by birth. Clay worker on and off since 1987 in Santa Fe and Atlanta and more seriously since 2011 in Atlanta. Member of the Cabbagetown Clay and Glassworks Cooperative since 2006 where members support and inspire.
