Shop policies

This is a store designed to sell items I have made and continue to make. Most of these items hold some form of special meaning just because effort was put into making them. My philosophy is that if you create something, create it out of good will and and a love of creating as opposed to something made simply to make money. However, as you have guessed, I am selling these items because I am trying to obtain funds to pay off my college debt as well as to hopefully make a living traveling a convention circuit selling items to people who love to dress up and make-believe.

Payment
I accept PayPal, checks and money orders within a timely fashion, obviously. If I do not receive payment or notification of said payment within two days of when item was originally purchased for sale, I will contact the buyer and inform them that I have not received payment. I will then give an alternate two days for response and payment. If payment is not received then, I will cancel the sale and relist the item. I understand our glorious postal system is not 100% reliable and a lack of funds is not always the buyer's fault.

If you feel that you must cancel an order with me, it must be in email addressed to canesgalactica [!at] gmail.com so that I might either refund your money (if done through PayPal) or ensure that the item goes back up for sale in a timely manner.
Shipping
I ship primarily using the good ole' USPS, however and my shipping rates may be higher than expected because I require delivery confirmation on all domestic packages. International orders require a little more depth to them, and may not be confirmed with DC (stupid USPS), but I still ship all packages via First Class Mail. If your package does not arrive in 2 weeks from the time I send you a notification for shipping, please CONTACT me and let me know!

Confirmation should arrive to the buyer after I have received payment. When I ship an item, I will send an email with details on tracking your shipment. This includes the tracking number, details on your shipment and estimated arrival times by what the USPS has told me.

Also, do not be alarmed at receiving 'recycled' boxes from me as I am an avid supporter of 'going green'. I recycle almost everything and it is not unusual to see me send a package out in a Lipton Tea box or other product box. Rest assured however that just because I recycle does not mean I do not care about the items I ship. All items are packaged with love and care to ensure save travel and arrival at your front door. Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are considered on a person to person to basis.

At this time, I only do exchanges for items sold that a person is unsatisfied with. For example, if you order a certain item and are unhappy with it, I will exchange it for a like item, but I must receive the item you are exchanging with me first and I must have a detailed reason of why the buyer is unsatisfied.

Damages and losses are reasons for an exchange if seller finds that an item has not arrived or has been damaged in shipping. Again, seller only refunds in instances of lost purchases.
