Sisters to the Rescue!
My sister Lauren and I learned to sew years and years ago. After spending a few years teaching school, we both started having children around the same time. Left with a little time on our hands, and to keep from going crazy, we started making superhero capes, blankets, skirts, and other little items for our kids. Once we realized other people wanted them as well, we started to sell them at affordable prices.
We spend a LOT of time cutting, planning, designing, and...SEWING! We have a process in place for cutting bolts of fabric that are taller than us and turning all that satin into colorful, flowing capes. At the heart of our process is keeping our capes affordable for most but still an item that your child can enjoy for years to come.
All of our capes and masks are made in our homes, by us. Occasionally we may have a college student swing in for a few hours to help catch us up on cutting around the holiday season! Because Dawn is in PA and Lauren is in NC, you may see a package coming from either of those two places. But rest assured knowing we both pour all of our hearts into your handmade products and send off all of our capes with care!
