Welcome! Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my quilts. I hope you will find something to your liking here. It is my desire to provide beautiful, heirloom quality quilts that will serve their purpose as quilts, and also become cherished keepsakes.

I am a busy wife and mother, so all of my projects are made in bits and pieces of time (like the quilts themselves!) between taking care of my family. Some are truly scrap quilts, fabric "upcycled" from other uses. Others are made from new fabrics. Due to time constraints, and to keep the cost down, I generally machine quilt, but I almost always finish the binding by hand because it simply looks better that way.

I have made these as gifts for years, and have been encouraged by a number of people to put them on the market. So here they are!

Additionally, I have become increasingly interested in producing one of a kind, top-quality infant clothes, particularly if I can recycle or "upcycle" the fabric. Items of this sort will be appearing more and more in my shop, and I would be glad to take custom orders.

Accepted payment methods

  • Money Order
Payment
Paypal being the quickest and most efficient way to complete a transaction, that is my preferred method of payment. I will also accept money orders, however, if the buyer cannot or does not wish to use Paypal.

If using Paypal, full payment must be recieved within three days of the purchase. If payment is not recieved within this time, the transaction will be cancelled.

If sending a money order, full payment must be recieved within 7 business days. Item will not be shipped until payment is recieved, and the transaction will be cancelled if payment is not recieved within the specified time.
Shipping
Shipping rates reflect standard shipping costs (regular priority mail).

For shipping upgrades, or if you want insurance on the item, and for international shipping, please contact me immediately after the purchase is made, as all of these things will affect pricing.
Refunds and Exchanges
I can accept returns on items sold, but can only refund the cost of the item itself, not the shipping.

If damage occurs during shipping, I will accept a return and provide a refund for the price of the item or exchange it for an item of equal value. Because each quilt is unique, an appropriate exchange will be worked out with the customer, but I cannot guarantee and exact replica of the original item.

Because of the potential for abuse, I cannot offer refunds for items lost in the mail, except in cases where shipping confirmation was purchased and the loss can be proven.
Additional policies and FAQs
Each of my quilts is made at home, pieces cut by hand, and put together on a crochety old sewing machine. I work hard to make them sturdy and beautiful. The buyer should be aware that these items look home-made because they *are* home-made. Thus a corner may be imprecise, one quilting stitch a fraction longer than it's neighbor.

I do accept Alchemy and custom orders. Pricing will be similar to the quilts I post, but depend somewhat on the size of the quilt requested, the materials desired, and whether the customer provides the material or wants me to purchase it. I will be glad to work with you to create just what you want.
