About

Let me tell you a bit about Caprilicious Jewellery and it's maker Neena Shilvock

Neena Shilvock (nee’ Navaneetham) is the designer behind Caprilicious Jewellery, an eclectic collection of Indo- Western wear. She is a cat person, obstetrician and gynaecologist, and jewellery designer and maker, in no particular order. Given the choice, she would paint the world in happy, bright, rainbow colours and her jewellery is consequently as high visibility as her world vision. She imagines that she is an introvert and that her jewellery speaks for her, but others beg to differ. Either way, her designs are interesting and unusual, her eye for colour is unerring, her workmanship excellent, and her choice of materials unconventional. Her jewellery suits the soul of the sophisticated extrovert and bashful introverts will find that wearing Caprilicious endows them with the magical ability to stand up and be counted.
She can be found at www.capriliciousjewellery.com and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/CapriliciousJewellery
She writes a blog on Fridays and would love you take a look at it - http://www.capriliciousjewellery.com/blog

Welcome to Caprilicious Jewellery. I am passionate about my designs and do my utmost to make sure that not only are they pleasing to the eye, but also that they are secure and comfortable to wear.
I started to make jewellery because the type of statement art jewellery I wanted to wear was way too expensive for me - I am true to that ethos, and source my materials carefully and make sure that I get the best prices for components, so I can pass this on to you, my customer.
I offer your jewellery in customised pillow boxes, larger necklaces in their own sturdy cardboard box for ease of transportation and storage, and gift wrapping if you should require it. Shopping with Caprilicious will be an experience you will want to repeat time and time again, and at the prices I quote, you will be able to.
I source my materials responsibly and in the interests of or ecology, I reuse postal padded envelopes and packaging boxes / material when I can - my small contribution towards this endangered planet!
If you like something and it is sold, convo me, and I will endeavour to make you a similar item, although you must remember that no two pieces of handmade jewellery can ever be the same.

Additional policies and FAQs
Repair Policy: I am happy to repair the jewellery I made for you if for some reason it breaks, free of charge, provided it has been treated with care and not misused. The customer bears the cost of the postage both ways.
The jewellery you have just purchased is handcrafted and not machine mass produced. If you are looking for a piece of jewellery that is completely regular and seamless like machine manufactured jewellery, then handcrafted jewellery may not be for you.
Handmade items benefit from careful wear and usage. They are are lovingly created entirely by hand and may not withstand unduly rough treatment. If treated well, however, they should be your faithful companion for years to come. Please allow for minor variations in colour as colours on screen may not be truly representative of the actual colour of the jewellery received. If you have any questions prior to making your purchase, please email me.
Commissions can be arranged with me on an individual basis. They will normally involve an initial meeting online, to discuss ideas, colours and materials. I will then work with you on sketches. This process can take from an hour to six weeks depending on your requirements. I can agree changes to the design as the work progresses; these will be subject to the same terms as above. Subsequent changes to work once completed will incur additional costs dependent on time and materials.
Occasionally the date of completion will move if materials such as specific gemstones need sourcing. I will always try to source the materials from the most affordable vendors, so I can pass on the savings to you and will work within your budget, but this may take time.
