My name is Lisa Collins and I love glass! I found my way into the arts 20 years ago. I took my first stained glass class and found myself hooked. I am a dental hygienist. Handling tools and refining my fine motor skills has carried over to my hobby. several years ago I bought a kiln to create some glass squares. I had planned on incorporating my fused glass squares into my stained glass windows as an accent. WELL- I went off course a bit! I found a new type of art medium that I fell in love with “fused glass”. I have experimented with glass, heat and gravity to also create unique pieces of table top art. These very unique pieces are incredibly difficult to make. I experience many failures to create a piece however when I create a special piece it is so satisfying.
