These are absolutely adorable but SO cheaply made. The hoops are difficult to close and more difficult to keep closed. The red disc regularly falls off. Again, adorable but I can't imagine I can expect to have them for too long as they keep breaking.

Cara Lyndon Jewelry

Cara Lyndon is a Vermont Native who now lives in Oakland CA making her unique accessories now since 2001.

It Started as a "Hobby" taking my great grandmother's broken brooches and other costume jewelry and using the pieces that i liked and re-creating something that looked more my style and updated. Soon after noticing, friends would bring me there "grandmas" broken costume jewelry asking for an update. It was exciting, flattering and intimidating all at the same time. Being a poor Masters student at the time i had a lot of motivation to make it happen. Within just a few years i was building enough bravery to approach shop owners, sell at local fairs and even create a website! Not long after that an appearance in Daily Candy led to over 600 sales in a 24hr period of time. The momentum has not stopped from there. Of course working on this scale i cant keep up the customization that i started with. And now a large part of my business consists of scavenging dead stock from old costume jewelry warehouses.
