Frequently asked questions

How do you have so many skulls to paint?

Sometimes I’ll find a few in the woods and next to the beaches of the Pacific Northwest. Every skull I find is treated with respect and care. Knowing it has a story to it is the best feeling.

How do you clean your skulls?

I first scrub off all the dirt and moss from the skull and then I soak it in a soapy bath and then I dip it in bleach for extra measures. Once that is done I take it out and use our hair dryer to quickly dry and to reduce the earthy smell if it was found in the dirt.

What materials do you use in making your skulls?

I Paint all my skulls with high quality acrylic paints and then I adorn them with nature findings like moss, dried flowers, crystals, dried mushrooms, etc!

Can you make me a custom skull?

Yes I can! Just message me and let me know what your budget is and what type of colors and themes you want for your skull! Prices increase with the size of the skull. After you let me know what you want I will set up a custom listing! Regular prices for customs can range from $50- 160 usd depending on the complexity. Also the prices will be more if it’s a uncommon animal skull like a otter or raccoon etc.

Care instructions

Skulls and delicate pieces that I create should be placed in a spot where it will be out of the way from humans or animals that might accidentally break it or make it fall. I recommend having it either on the wall or on a shelf or vanity. My art is not washable due to the paint and it might chip of you try to scrub it.
