This is beautiful and colorful . It looks great on my blue bedroom wall. Love the print on canvas and the added wire on the back to hang. So easy!
Art Is My Happy Place
When I was about 9, my dad, who was a great hobbyist painter, picked up his brushes again after a few years break. He started taking the family to little art shows in the city (in San José, Costa Rica) on the weekends, where he would chat with the artists and get tips to grow his own practice. Since then, I wanted to be an artist too.
When I was about 15, I remember arguing in the car with my dad on the way to see my grandparents (in Costa Rica it is not unusual for the whole family to gather every Sunday, in my family's case, my paternal grandparents house was the "club house"). We were arguing because he really wanted me to go to University and I kept saying I didn't want to go. He asked why? I said: "because all I want is to be an artist", he said I could study art in University (I have no idea why my teenager self was not aware of this fact...). "Oh!, then I do want to go to University" I said.
I did go to University, in fact, I love studying in general, I'm quite a nerd. I graduated with a BFA with emphasis in painting in 2007 from University of Costa Rica and I've been a full time artist for while now. I love it. This is my passion, this is my happy place and I hope my art can bring some joy into your life and your home as well.

Hi! I'm Carolina, a Costa Rican/American gal who happily ended up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I graduated with a BFA in Painting in 2007 and now I am a full time artist, painting my surroundings the way I see them: with a lot of color!

Returns & exchanges
I ship with USPS or UPS depending on size and weight of the package. I pack everything very well protected with cardboard covering both sides of prints and bubble wrap when necessary. At the moment I'm able to ship any item listed in my shop in 1-3 business days, I will contact you if there are circumstances out my control that would prevent me from shipping during that time frame (we have hurricanes where I live, and every so often there’s a big one that shuts everything down).
*FOR ITEMS SHIPPED FROM MY SHIPPING PARTNERS (Clothing, Mugs, Tea Towels):
Please allow 2-9 business days for fulfillment.
Additional policies and FAQs
Fast! I usually ship in 1 to 2 business days. If there's anything out of my control that could change this, I will contact you.
Items not shipped from my studio (clothing, mugs, tea towels) take a bit longer: 3-7 business days on average.
*Is This All Your Work?
Yes! I paint the original art and then make tiny prints of the originals to add to the jewelry settings, or I hand paint the jewelry myself. It is all done in my small home studio on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
I do no make the settings I use for the jewelry but look long and hard for high quality materials, and whenever available, I will buy American made supplies and materials.
