The coasters look awesome, and were delivered very quickly. I would definitely order from Melanie again!

LOVE!! You were easy to work with and these are a wonderful reminder of the trips we took this year. We'll add new coasters each year :)

About

Carolina Cottage

“If it’ll hold still long enough, I’ll cover it with paper”
I was working as a graphic artist for a direct-mail company when I started Carolina Cottage. My job was pretty creative, but I wanted more. I needed to do something creative that I had complete control over - no rules, restrictions or limitations.
I did a lot of reading and research and found that I was drawn to collage and mixed media, but didn’t feel like I was ready to tackle that yet.
Long story short, I tried decoupaging some stuff and it stuck. However, I didn’t want to do traditional decoupage. I wanted the entire item covered with color and pattern. Soon I was decoupaging anything I could get my hands on - boxes, trays, marble and porcelain tiles, glass candle holders, metal pails, wood plaques, furniture...
Now, 8 years later I'm still going strong.
I’m supported, and occasionally assisted by, my husband and two kids.
