Carolina Muse Studio is ontstaan op de veranda van mijn grootouders in Dudley, North Carolina, ergens tussen een gebed en een doorbraak.
Ik ben een feministische, gediplomeerde therapeut, life coach en klinisch supervisor die jarenlang jonge vrouwen van Afrikaanse afkomst heeft begeleid in hun helingsproces. Steeds weer viel me hetzelfde op: er waren onvoldoende hulpmiddelen die ons aanspraken, voor ons bedoeld waren en onze stem volledig weerspiegelden.
Dus ik heb ze gebouwd.
Elk werkblad, dagboek en cursusmateriaal in deze webshop is gebaseerd op feministisch gedachtegoed, traumagerichte zorg en de diepe overtuiging dat genezing niet klinisch, gehaast of voor iemand anders hoeft te zijn.

Carolina Muse Studio was born on my grandparents' porch in Dudley, North Carolina somewhere between a prayer and a breakthrough.
I'm a womanist licensed therapist, life coach, and clinical supervisor who has spent years sitting with young women of African decent in their healing. I kept noticing the same thing: there weren't enough resources that spoke to us, for us, in our full voice.
So I built them.
Every worksheet, journal, and course companion in this shop is grounded in womanist thought, trauma-informed practice, and the deep belief that healing doesn't have to be clinical, rushed, or performed for anyone else.
