Paper Cuts
Nature inspires me. I have a soft spot for weird, cuddly, and adorable animals.
I was the kind of kid who constantly needed to be kept busy, so my mom would keep me busy with art projects. When I was five, my mom took me to see The Lion King. It pretty much changed my life, I went home and told her "I want to draw that." She taught me how to see and draw shapes. From that point on, I was mesmerized by drawing animals and it became a way of life.
After graduating from high school, I went to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL and graduated in May 2011. I majored in illustration, and took selective coursework in visual development. My passions are animals, animation and illustration.
After I graduated, I was hired as a textile designer by the fashion company, Lilly Pulitzer. I continue to design for them, and create original illustrations on my own. I have always been fascinated with creating paper illustrations, and I love sharing them with the world. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them!
