She and her husband have two daughters and now five grandchildren. She believes that the experiences she has lived plays a major role in what she paints or illustrates. Also, living in rural Texas where ranches take up way more space than cities, Carolyn has preserved subjects such as horses, cattle and cowboy life on canvas. Last, but certainly not least, her faith has lead her to create angel paintings which are very inspiring and touching to others.
