About

Handmade Art Jewelry.

I love working with many different forms of media. I hope my passion for my work and attention to detail show in each and every piece. My art is handmade in a smoke free home, with four loving cats attempting to assist.

I started making polymer clay jewelry in 2007. I was inspired to do this for two reasons, first, I did not have the resources available to work in silver. And second, by using polymer and paint I could make my creations look alive, and each one is a unique one of a kind handmade piece. I always cure polymer clay to the manufacturers specifications, and use armatures to support the work as well as the strongest clay on the market to make sure each piece will last.

One of a kind pieces take more time than some people are willing to pay for, and polymer is structurally limiting since it isn't as strong as metal. In 2012 I expanded my studio to include PMC fine silver. I carefully shape each silver clay piece, and fire them in a kiln for 2 hours at 1650 F for strength.

I plan to continue to expand my line of metal clay jewelry, as well as the occasional unique polymer piece.

My work is created in a cozy home in South West Michigan.

I love working with many different forms of media and adding lots of fussy detail to every piece. Most of my work is inspired by nature. When not working on art, I like to read, watch movies, play board games, garden, and hang out with my cats.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I am happy to custom engrave (by hand carving in metal clay) the back of new fine silver or copper pieces, or make a similar piece with a different color of stone (many colors are available in cubic zirconia, limited sapphire availability.) Custom pieces will take at least 4 weeks to complete depending on my waiting list at the time. I unfortunately cannot engrave pieces that are already complete. Flat cost of 5 dollars for engraving words.
