Life is full of surprises

I graduated from Oberlin College in 1999 with a degree in Neuroscience. The summer after college, I was turned down for my "dream job with my dream company" in a great city for being overqualified. Yep, OVERqualified. Three weeks later, I started dating my husband. Three weeks after that, the company called me, saying they changed their mind and they were looking for someone who wanted to progress quickly in their company. Without thinking, I turned down that "dream job with my dream company". Years later, I am very happy with my husband and that decision. We have a great marriage and two wonderful canine children.
CarviN Chick is my dream for so many reasons. When I decided to build a CNC router in early 2012, I thought I would find a nice hobby. I quickly found that it was my passion. I loved designing, both for the technical and creative aspects. I loved creating one of a kind personalized items.
