This is not only awesome to look at, easy to haul, space saving, and a conversation piece, but it's a serious bass drum! It sounds amazing, and the craftsmanship that went into it is top shelf! I believe this will last for many, many years. The fellow that builds them takes great pride in his work, and it shows. Hands down, one of the best instrument purchases that I've ever made. Put a mic up to the port hole, and you'll be convinced it's a 22 inch kick drum. Get one, you will never be sorry!!!!

Casebase is incredible company. The craftsmanship and creativity are remarkable. While they are beautiful they are not fragile, I can lay into mine and it feels solid and sounds amazing. There is no one building suitcase-kick drums in this capacity. Search the web and see for yourself. I use mine from everything to intimate acoustic/radio shows to stadiums. It’s also great for practicing quietly in my house. It has effectively removed the need for the cajon in our set and created a more interesting addition to our show. Ingenious design with amazing build quality! This is perfect for someone like me who is constantly moving around and is never able to drum in one specific practice spot. David was on point with the communication, and even pitched in ideas to help make my case come out better than I could've imagined it. The thing looks cool, sounds awesome, and seems like it'll be durable enough to last me a lifetime!

If you do a YouTube search for "suitcase kick drum" then you will quickly find that CaseBass is in a league of their own. Where is there a builder who does the exquisite kind of work these guys do? The CaseBass crew is attentive to fine details and very passionate about producing top shelf pieces of functional art. If you want to take a dive into the world of suitcase bass drums, then I wholeheartedly recommend you drop these guys a line.

In a world of Namm shows where musicians end up with the same ol gear as soon as it comes out...having a custom piece like this is what sets you apart. I chose to go with a beautiful burnt orange caramel to match of one my main guitars, it really is a work of art. Who would have known that mixing your standard chrome with brass (who does brass?) could be so sexy? I chose to go with a clamp on each side, one for my cymbal and another "puppy bone" style clamp for my SPD-SX sampling pad. Add a snare, some hi hats and a floor tom and I literally have a travel kit that not only sounds amazing, but turns heads. I cannot say enough great things about my new case. Do yourself a favor and order one now!

this guy is mad legit. kept up communication through the entire build and was extremely personable. the quality of the product speaks for itself. the casebass is a game changer.

I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am with this suitcase! I’m currently on a national tour opening up for the band Vintage Trouble and I’m playing nothing but Big theatres and the amount of low end I get from this thing is ridiculous! So much so that at the first soundcheck everyone came out of their green room just to see what was going on! Besides the product being amazing the customer service was up to par and they were the most responsive and helpful people I’ve dealt with when it comes to drum companies!! Can’t recommend these guys more!! BUY ONE!!! You won’t regret it!
