Announcement   Attention - I am unavailable from 7/1/16 - 7/5/16 - any items bought during that time will ship out upon my return. I will be responding to conversations, so if you have any questions, send them my way :)

All items non-vintage items are handmade by me. Baby mobiles with a natural slant and unique vintage seasonal home decor that becomes the focal point of the room. Browse our one of a kind baby mobiles, made with eco-friendly materials, for the perfect baby shower gift that will stand out amongst a sea of onesies and blankets, or peruse our antiques that are curated with a keen eye and obsessive love for all vintage. When it comes to baby decor, I like to steer clear of cutesy or cartoonish and focus on unique but whimsical interpretations of both real life and my imagination. This means that the mobiles will still appeal to children as they grow up, and in addition, have caught the eye of plenty of adults who are looking for a piece to adorn their living room or a party prop that doesn't take up valuable table space.

Re: shipping -- I am happy to combine shipping, but need a heads up because of the uniqueness/breakability of my items. Please contact me and I will figure out the rate. If shipping is ever less than quoted, I will give a partial refund.

About

An array of decor for the the vintage-minded, nature-loving crowd

After graduating college, the world that had once been called my oyster from so many guidance counselors and professors had found itself in a recession. Originally wanting to be a buyer for a clothing store, I found my options limited and wound up doing marketing for a motivational speaker. She turned out to be an incredible mentor, and I found her strong, entrepreneurial spirit incredibly inspiring. Since then I was always drawn to working for smaller businesses, and lucked out with multiple bosses who taught me what true leadership is and what it takes to start a business. After taking some time off to pursue graduate design studies, I found a hobby in creating baby mobiles and other crafts, as well as refinishing antique furniture that led to multiple friends and family members insisting that I start a business. I decided that it was time for me to be my own boss, not only because I can swear at her and she lets me wear tutus to work, but for the freedom to explore what I love and share it. I finally bit the bullet and started a lifestyle blog full of things like recipes, DIY projects and self-deprecation, and opened up this Etsy shop to sell my whims, and couldn't be happier.

When it comes to baby mobiles, I like to steer clear of the cutesy, cartooney look, and instead focus on hanging decor that will appeal to babies and adults alike, and can stay with a child as they grow up and want "big kid" things. I have also had plenty of buyers without children, who just want a pretty focal point for a room, or as decor for a party. All mobiles are handmade by me and me alone, and the shop is 100% run by me.

Visit my blog at ww.cassandmerlune.com for some DIY tips, recipes, and other lifestyle articles.

My house is a museum of vintage artifacts and DIY projects, and after many years of friends and family telling me to do this for a living, I decided to expand my love for vintage and nature-inspired decor into a business.

Returns and exchanges
All sales are final, with the only exception being if there is an error in the listing.
Refunds will not be given if the item doesn’t fit, so please check all measurements carefully before buying. “Best fit for (size)” recommendations are designed as a helpful guideline only. (If a range of sizes is given, assume a closer fit on the larger size and a more generous fit on the smaller size.) If you are unsure if an item will fit you, try taking the measurements of a similar garment in your wardrobe and comparing those to the measurements given in the listing.
Payment
I currently accept Paypal and Direct Checkout. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay via PayPal, please visit their website for details. Echecks through PayPal are also accepted, but please note that item(s) will not be shipped until the Echeck clears (usually 3-5 days). Orders will not be shipped until item is paid in full. Custom orders will be started immediately after payment, and cannot be cancelled after that point.
Shipping
All items ship within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment, with the exception of custom orders. Custom orders typically ship within 4 weeks, but periods of high demand might be closer to 6-8 weeks.

All items are shipped via USPS First Class when available. All orders will be shipped to buyer's ETSY address (not PayPal). If you would like a different address to be used, please contact me after purchase and I am happy to send it to a different address.

I ship worldwide via U.S.P.S., but for all non-US customers, please contact me in advance so I can give you a quote.

Shipping rates and times may vary and are determined by the weight of your item(s) + your zip/postal code. Please read on for more details.

US Buyers:
Most U.S. packages are sent via First Class, Parcel Select, or Priority Mail (including trackable Delivery Confirmation). If you need an item quickly, please let me know in advance.

Insurance is typically not included in shipping costs. If you would like to purchase insurance to be covered in the event of breakage or loss, please let me know. Insurance costs are as follows:

Fee . . . . . . . . . . Insurance Coverage
$1.75 ................ $0.01 to $50
$2.25 ................ $50.01 to $100
$2.75 ................ $100.01 to $200
$4.70 ................ $200.01 to $300
$5.70 ................ $300.01 to $400
$6.70 ................ $400.01 to $500
$7.70 ................ $500.01 to $600

In rare cases, where the item is particularly breakable and/or valuable, insurance is required and has been included in the shipping quote.

International Buyers:
Some international packages weighing under 4 lbs. are sent via First Class Mail International. All heavy items (over 4 lbs) must be shipped via Global Priority.

Delivery times for First Class Mail International vary widely, anywhere from 1-6 weeks. Also, tracking information is not available for this service. If you need your package by a certain date, or would like the ability to track it, please contact me about an upgrade to Priority.

In addition, I require third-party insurance on all international packages. The fee for this service is under $2 for most packages, and has been included in the shipping price.

Multiple Purchases:
I’m more than happy to combine shipping on multiple items! However, due to the delicate nature of many of my items, please contact me in advance, as sometimes I would not advise shipping more than one at once. If you go ahead and make your purchase without a combined rate, any significant overcharge will be refunded to you when I ship your items.

For All Buyers:
If I discover a shipping overcharge after you've paid, I send a refund when I print your shipping label.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am happy to place an item on hold for you for a set time frame. I will mark the item as reserved. Please do not purchase an item you see marked as reserved, I will take off the reserved sign as soon as the time frame is up if it has not been purchased by the person it was reserved for.

Please keep in mind that all vintage items have had previous owners, and in most cases, they have been used and/or worn. Vintage items are almost always imperfect, but that's part of their charm. I try to include lots of photos so you won't be surprised when your purchase arrives. Also, I never sell things I wouldn’t buy myself.

If you have any concerns about your order before or after you receive it, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m very willing to help and to work with you to resolve any problems.
