Cast in Three started with a simple idea; I wanted to make my wife a ring that actually meant something.
Not something mass produced. Not something perfect. I wanted something made by hand, with flaws, texture, weight, and character. Something real.
I fell in love with the process almost immediately. The fire, the sand, the uncertainty of every pour, and the fact that no two pieces ever come out exactly the same. That “imperfection” became the entire point. Every air pocket, rough texture, uneven line, and raw surface tells part of the story. In a world full of perfectly manufactured jewelry, I wanted to create pieces that felt alive.
What started as one ring turned into late nights in my garage in southern Indiana learning everything I could about sand casting, metals, stones, finishing, and design. A lot of trial and error. A lot of failures. Burned casts. Cracked pieces. Ruined pours. But every mistake taught me something, and every finished piece carried that experience with it.
The name Cast in Three comes from my triplets, the three little humans who changed my life and inspire everything I create. They remind me daily that chaos, imperfections, personality, and individuality are what make something truly special. That mindset became the foundation of this brand.
Every piece in this shop is handmade by me. No assembly line. No outsourcing. Just real work, real materials, and real craftsmanship. Many of my designs are sand cast directly, giving them textures and details that can’t be duplicated through traditional manufacturing. Some pieces include cast-in-place stones, where the stone survives the casting process itself. Something that still feels like magic every time it works.
I love jewelry that feels heavy, rugged, raw, and personal. Pieces that look like they have a story behind them. Jewelry that doesn’t try to hide its scars.
