Cada uno de los artículos de fundición en frío se realiza con resina y polvo de metal, por lo que los resultados son más realistas que un trabajo de pintura. Después de la etapa inicial de fundición, paso varias horas terminando y puliendo a mano cada uno para que pueda estar seguro de que su pedido está hecho a mano y terminado a mano para lograr el mejor resultado posible y al ser metal real envejecerán y empañarán como una estatua de metal, pero a una fracción del costo de una fundición 100% metálica.

I've spent quite a few years of my life messing around with paint, clay, plastic, glue, foam, bits of wire and any old scraps I could lay my hands on. Then one day I woke up to find that I'd sculpted an 8" statue of Cthulhu and it had become popular. At first I had a few people asking about buying castings and the next thing I knew, I had lots of people enquiring.
So here I am on Etsy and while I've called myself CastingsofCthulhu, I'm also producing items which may or may not be connected with Lovecraft's work, but at the heart of it all is the original Cthulhu.
Each of the cold cast items are done using resin and metal powder so the results are more realistic than a paint job. After the initial casting stage I spend several hours hand finishing and polishing each one so you can be sure that your order is hand crafted and hand finished to achieve the best possible result and being real metal they will age and tarnish just like a metal statue but at a fraction of the cost of a 100% metal casting.
