The item is beautiful and my friend loved it! The customer service was above and beyond. The item was shipped and lost in the mail. I contacted seller and she immediately sent out another package priority mail. She used a pretty gift box and a cute card was included. Highly recommend this talented and conscientious seller.

Love the beautiful artwork and size. Wish it had not come with a tag attached though as it was difficult to fully remove without cutting the pillow.

Very cute card. Heavy card stock. Image is great. I'm sending this to a wildlife rehabilitator with a donation for taking 4 baby mice that I found.
Illness to Artwork
I’m 26 and began drawing in 2010 after two years of struggling with an unknown illness. After having to medically withdraw from college and physically unable to hold employment, I turned to drawing as a constructive outlet. I was finally diagnosed in 2014 (after 6.5 years) with chronic Lyme disease, Bartonella, two types of pneumonia, an adrenal malfunction, and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. Now that I'm on proper treatment and am starting to feel better (very slowly!), I’m turning my artwork into a career.
I now spend my 'good' time drawing. I specialize in vibrant, detailed animal and wildlife drawings and my favorite medium is colored pencil. I was shocked at the amount of depth, detail, and richness of color that can be achieved with colored pencil and hope to help it be better recognized as a true fine art medium. I also strive to bring awareness to issues surrounding animals, both wild and domestic. I frequently donate portions of my etsy profits to varying animal organizations to try and help support this cause.
Every piece I tackle is an experiment and an opportunity to push the window of what I can accomplish.
Out of my artwork, I also makes other products, like greeting cards, calendars, jewelry, keychains, mousepads, mugs, and magnets. Check in the shop for some examples.

Corrina Thurston began drawing in 2010 after being diagnosed with a long-term illness, of which she still suffers. She loves wildlife and works mostly in colored pencil, although the finished products look more like paintings than drawings.
I love doing this and I love sharing it. I hope you enjoy the artwork as well and share it with your own friends and family.

Additional policies and FAQs
If there is a size you want that is different than what is displayed on the website, contact me and we might be able to figure something out. Keep in mind that the bigger the print, the more expensive it becomes to make it, but I am more than willing to try and work something out and experiment with sizing.
If you have a picture you would like me to draw, feel free to send it to me, but more likely than not, I will not choose to draw it. If I do choose to draw it, because of my illness, I cannot be put on any sort of deadline. There are days when I can work multiple hours, and there are months where I am too sick to pick up a pencil, and it is completely unpredictable, so please be patient with me.
