3 out of 5 starsIt was well made but way too big. I can't really imagine someone with a head that big. Otherwise delivery was prompt and good communication

2 out of 5 starsWhat I did like about the hat is that it’s the perfect color, it is well stitched, and it’s low cost. Unfortunately it is made too big and it doesn’t keep a firm shape like what you see in the picture. The front loses its point, the sides look like they’re ready to drape, and there is just too much extra material surrounding one’s head.
If you’re on a low budget to do a short school, community, or church skit, this will do it’s job as a one time only worn product. If you’re trying to find something for going to the Renaissance fair, for cosplay, or for anything else where you will want to look more convincing as a medieval hunter, this is not the product you will want to invest in.Cheryl Ann responded on Jun 11, 2019
Clearly, this is NOT a theatrical quality hat but a budget costume hat. I never said it was the finest quality, I state clearly and plainly how it's made. As far as it not keeping it's shape, I have to ask what the wearer was doing with it to make it lose it's shape so quickly!! If the buyer had asked questions about the hat prior to purchase since he was obviously looking for something specific, I would have gladly steered him away from said purchase. This is a $20 costume hat, period.

Custom sewing by CAT
I started sewing about age 10 doing toys and puppets and by the time I was in college was doing costuming for theatrical productions. I became a costumer for a local theatre group while in grad school and worked doing alterations at a bridal shop. Over the years I have done craft shows and lots of custom bridal and alterations. When my health forced me to slow down and I could no longer teach full time, I started sewing more. I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronisms and have done tons of custom Medieval garb. I sell at local SCA events and Ren Faires along with Comic book and fantasy Cons. I love making people's dreams come true through costumes, custom sewing and accessories to compliment their Cosplay. Imagination is the only limitation to what can be done!

I sew because I can! I am a former teacher that had some major life changes and fell back on something I know and love to do: sewing costumes and toys. I do comic/sci fi conventions, craft shows and Etsy.
